Q: Can you make custom pieces?

A: Yes, I need a idea/picture/drawing and I will be happy to work with you on your sculpture.

Q: How will you ship it to me?

A: Your ice sculpture will be placed in an insulated box with about 2lbs of dry ice. It will then be Fedex overnight shipped to your location.

Q: What if I live in St. Louis?

A: Your sculpture will be delivered to you via Just Add Ice.

Q: How long will it last?

A: At least the night of your party. These pipes can be kept for longer but special care is needed. I have kept pipes going for 9 months (not used regularly). With regular use 3 to 6 months.

Q: Do you make water pipes?

A: Yes, but water pipes need special care to keep them past your party night, and it is recommended you use some type of alcohol in place of the water to prevent clogging in the pipe.

Q: Does it melt?

A: Yes. As soon as you take it out of the freezer the ice begins to temper. It will take about 1/2 an hour to an hour depending on size for the frost to disapear - leaving the ice crystal clear.

Q: How long can I keep it out of the freezer?

A: Depending on th size of the pipe and the temperature of the room, it will vary. On average a pipe will physically start to melt in an hour. The tubes will stay sealed after that about an hour and a half.

Q: How do I display it?

A: I offer a display tray that works perfect for showcasing these ice sculptures for an additional $10.       This tray will eliminate the mess of water melting on your counter and towels frozen to your sculpture.

Setting it on a towel or holding it in a towel is another option, although the towel may freeze to the ice. The best way to remove a frozen towel or any debris, is to allow your ice sculpture to thaw out enough to easily wipe away with your hand.

Q:What about lighting?

A: Each sculpture comes with a water proof color changing LED light that can be placed in the base of the sculpture.

Q: Can I touch it?

A: Of course! There is nothing more satisfying than the cold smooth feel of sculpted ice. Just remember the first rule of ice "IT MELTS".

Q: Can I clean out the piping?

A: No.
